Melody Mason is an art photographer with a background in commercial photography and video production. Her photographic training comes from a variety of New York schools including the International Center of Photography, School of Visual Arts and
the New York Institute of Photography.

Ms. Mason began her professional career in New York City with Bachrach Photographers as a sales representative and candid photographer. She also spent over ten years as a company photographer for a high-tech firm located in Long Island, New York doing still photography and producing company videos. It was her free-lance work, creating

photography and videos for theatrical and dance productions, which motivated her to explore a personal vision with photography.

Melody finds creative inspiration in nature. She moved from Long Island to the Berkshires of Massachusetts to devote more time developing her photographic portfolio. Her “Elemental Watercolor” series continues to captivate her and remains the focus of her creativity.
